A community initiative for environmental justice
The Environmental Law Institute of Honduras (IDAMHO) is a non-profit, private organization that arises from civil society to promote compliance with environmental law.
To do so, IDAMHO develops many different kinds of activities, which include but are not limited to: litigation, support for the legal constitution of community-based organizations, workshops with various sectors of society, publication of educational materials and community guides, interagency coordination and other efforts to advocate for the defense and protection of nature.
